UNESCO Chair’s Meeting with the CEO of the Autism Society on September 11, 2024

During the visit of Dr. Younes Nourbakhsh, Chair of the UNESCO Chair in Social Health and Development, to the Iranian Autism Society, a joint meeting was held with the CEO of the Society. In this meeting, Ms. Ghafari, CEO of the Iranian Autism Society, first explained the activities of the Society in Iran and mentioned the number of people with autism, saying that this number is increasing day by day.

Dr. Nourbakhsh, Chair of the UNESCO Chair in Social Health and Development, said that since our Chair is active in the field of health and social health, good measures can be taken jointly in the international field.
Among these measures is a joint scientific meeting and introducing autism to the international community.
He added: We feel a duty in this area and are ready to accompany the Iranian Autism Society to raise awareness.
