In May 2014, the UNESCO Chair in Social Health and Development, after reviewing and evaluating the 10-year activity of Bank Pasargad in the field of social health, honored the bank with a statuette and a plaque of social health. UNESCO, through its affiliated units such as UNESCO Chairs, cooperates with various stakeholders including governments, civil society and the private sector to achieve its development goals.

As one of the leading economic organizations in the field of helping to improve the social health of the community and implementing social responsibility, over the past 10 years, Bank Pasargad has continuously taken extensive measures in the educational, social, disabled and sports sectors, as well as providing charitable donations, with the aim of contributing constructively to improving the social health of the community and the development of the country. In the past decade, the bank has built and opened 46 schools in deprived areas in order to provide children and adolescents with access to quality education and human development in the country, and is currently constructing 9 more schools. Also, in order to provide access to libraries for children, adolescents and young people in needy areas, Pasargad Bank has built 22 libraries in 6 provinces, 18 of which are fully operational and 4 are under construction.

Supporting 237 elites and top university students, as well as establishing Khatam University to train specialized and skilled personnel, are other measures taken by this bank in order to pay attention to education in the field of social responsibility. Pasargad Bank has also established health towns in 7 cities of Iran to promote the spread of physical health as an important component of the social health of the society. In order to help the country's autism community, this bank has carried out joint projects with the Iranian Autism Association for their rehabilitation and well-being in order to reduce the problems of them and their families.

In order to improve the lives of the disabled, Pasargad Bank has provided knowledge-based products that have had important and significant effects on the lives of the disabled. The country's sports community has also benefited from the cooperation and support of Bank Pasargad in the championship, professional and general sectors, and the bank has contributed to the development of the country's sports.

The UNESCO Chair, while appreciating the ten-year activities of Bank Pasargad in the field of social health, especially in the areas of education and capacity building, appreciated the bank's initiative in various fields of social health and hopes that such measures and activities will be continued by Bank Pasargad and other organizations and companies, and that the social health of Iranian society will be continuously and increasingly improved.
