Abstract:   (Original article)

One of the social factors determining social health is social capital, which promotes and encourages collective action and relationships between individuals in society. The present study examines the relationship between social capital and social health. This study is a cross-sectional survey study and its statistical population includes all women aged 18-60 in Yazd city. Using the Cochran formula, 288 people were selected using the Proportional Cluster Sampling (PPS) method and were examined using the Keyes Social Health Standard Questionnaire (1998) and the researcher-made social capital questionnaire. In order to analyze the data, descriptive analysis (mean, standard deviation, minimum score, maximum score) and inferential analysis (Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise regression) were used, and the results of Pearson correlation analysis and stepwise regression showed that there is a significant and direct relationship between social capital and its dimensions with social health.
