Abstract: (Original article)
This study examines the level of social health and the social factors affecting it among female heads of households in Qorveh city. The theoretical approach of the study is based on Keyes' social health approaches, Weber's socio-economic base, Glock and Stark's religious beliefs, and communication skills. The statistical population includes all female heads of households (92 people) under the coverage of the Qorveh city welfare organization. Also, 92 non-head women living in the same city were randomly studied for comparison using a survey method. The findings of the study showed that there is a statistically significant difference in terms of social health and its dimensions (which includes five dimensions) between female heads of households and non-head women. In addition, there is no significant difference in terms of the variables of socio-economic base, religious beliefs (belief dimension), and communication skills between female heads of households and non-head women.
