We are proud to announce that the Child-Friendly City Scientific Group at the UNESCO Chair in Social Health and Development has officially launched its work with the aim of creating sustainable, safe, and child-friendly environments in Iranian cities and villages.
This scientific group, by utilizing specialized knowledge, national and international experiences, and the participation of scientific, research, and executive institutions, provides a platform for discourse and designing practical solutions to improve the quality of life of children. The “Children’s Utopia” journal, as the founding institution and specialized reference of this scientific group, will play a key role in guiding, planning, and implementing its projects.
This collaboration has been formed with the valuable support and thoughtful guidance of Dr. Nourbakhsh, Chair of the UNESCO Chair in Social Health and Development; A scientific figure who, with a deep and multidimensional view of the concept of social health, has created an effective platform for expanding dialogue, producing knowledge, and improving the quality of life of children in cities and villages. In light of this support, the Child-Friendly City Scientific Group is taking steps towards developing localized, sustainable, and scientific models of child-friendly cities, especially in order to improve the physical, mental, and social health of children.
Engineer Seyyed Kazem Seyyed Morad, Director of the Child-Friendly City Scientific Group at the UNESCO Chair in Social Health and Development and Director of the Children's Utopia Magazine, announced that all specialists, researchers, artists, architects, and concerned activists in the field of children are invited to join us in this scientific, social, and cultural movement.
