A workshop on environment, social health and resilience focusing on the importance of water recycling as an indicator of development was held by the UNESCO Chair in Social Health and Development in cooperation with the Persian Gulf Infrastructure Development and Supply Company on March 11, 2023 in Bandar Abbas city.
A workshop on environment, social health and resilience focusing on the importance of water recycling as an indicator of development was held by the UNESCO Chair in Social Health and Development in cooperation with the Persian Gulf Infrastructure Development and Supply Company on March 11, 2023 in Bandar Abbas city.
This workshop was held for the experts of this company who are in charge of the Bandar Abbas city treatment plant project with the following objectives:
The importance of water recycling and purification to prevent sewage from entering the Persian Gulf and environmental pollution. The use of purified water for industrial activities in existing industries in the city. The relationship between reducing environmental pollution and increasing social health and a better quality of life for people.
The UNESCO Chair in Social Health and Development intends to hold specialized training workshops periodically for organizations and companies related to and involved in social health issues in order to promote marine environmental indicators and sustainable development.
