The UNESCO Chair on Social Health and Development at the University of Tehran has identified and recognized the corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities of Iran’s Arya Sasol Polymer Company in promoting social health.

The Chair has recently developed an initiative aimed at promoting social health and encouraging private sector involvement in environmental conservation activities, biodiversity protection, and education and cultural promotion. This initiative also emphasizes the identification and evaluation of actions taken in these areas. In November 2023, Arya Sasol Polymer Company received recognition and appreciation from the UNESCO Chair following a thorough review and evaluation based on a six-year activity report, particularly for its efforts in safeguarding biodiversity through the protection of the endangered species of Jabeer deer in Iran.
